Construction Requirements of Wear-Resistant Ceramic Dope
1. Temperature Range
The temperature should be ensured between 5 to 40,and avoid isolation and strong wind during construction.
2. Surface Treatment
For the construction plate, you need to wipe out the grease or grain on the surface, and then get rid of the entire oxidation coat, rust and other oil plate.
3. Welding and Strengthening the Tortoise-Shell Mesh
Closely attach the tortoise-shell mesh with the construction place, and weld them within 100-150 X 100-150 mm space, making sure that the welding points are no less than 80each sq.m.
4. Blending and Mixing of the Dope
(1) Blending of the dope
The normal water proportion is 7-8%.Ensure the best minimum water proportion according to the climate and construction environment.
(2) Mixing of the dope
Use small mixer to mix the dope 2-3 minutes, and then mix it with proportionally added water about 5-6 minutes. After that, put in the strengthening fiber (with a proportion of 2-4%), and mix about 10-15 minutes.
5. Requirements When Applying the Dope
(1)The dope should be closely pushed into the gaps of the mesh. For pipes, make sure the scouring plate should be thicker than the normal plate, and the transition should be smooth.
(2)The construction should begin with local area. The most important is that the required thickness should be ensured before the dope dries. After the construction having been completed, trowels can be used to polish the surface, and water can be sprinkled to ensure moisture if necessary.
6. Maintenance Requirements
(1)When the construction is finished, the dope should be maintained with sprinkling water 3 days(no less than 2 days in principle).
(2)During the process of construction and maintenance, any beating or vibrating should be banned, and avoid isolation.
